Brilliant article (as usual) Owen! Would have really had some fun in one of these back in my freight days in the Northern Territory. There were a lot of strips the venerable C208B just couldn’t get in and out of safely. The P-750 (based on quoted T/O and Landing distances) would make a lot of places accessible that we off-limits and still be able to carry a profitable load.

BTW, does the P-750 have air-conditioning? That was a real “nice-to-have” in the wet season in the C208B.

I remember flying with Syd and old Ron in the Puss Moth ,Austers and the Dragon Rapide..I built an airstrip on a paddock at Wyong near the racecourse, where Reg Ansett dropped in on one of his mates in his early days on the mail run…
