The media attention for ‘There and Back’ seems to almost be reaching fever pitch.
The website has been bombarded at previously uneseen levels, but the major breaking news is upcoming coverage with the Ten Network. They are keen to see the ‘There and Back’ Jabiru in all its new glory and I suspect grab a word or two from me as well. It is a tremendous chance to increase the profile of the flight to a very broad audience which is so important. This flight is not solely for aviation folk, but the greater community at large. We’re all in this together.
Having given 4 interviews in the past few hours and the phone still running hot, it is great news for the flight around Australia which departs Bundaberg on May 5th. The sincere hope is that the word spreading will readily translate into donations for my nominated cause, the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
I look forward to seeing everyone as I fly around this great land, so I invite everybody to get out there and spread the word!
